Problem is happening today aswell (inputs not being detected,) here are logs: I have no clue what fixed it lol but thanks!Įdit: whenever I press the dpad quickly lightbar flashes red and there's insane input delay lol what does this mean? Ok so, I literally just connected the controller like usual to see if it works, and it did. What do you see in JOY.CPL controlPanel gamepad configuration screen? Run joy.cpl command or press "Control Panel" link in DS4Windows Settings tab page. What do you see in the latest logfile? Export the content of Logs tab page or navigate to %appdata%\ds4windows\logs folder. You can disable this in profile settings (Lightbar tab page) when you set the flash at value to "-10".

Or you can set the high latency threshold to bigger value in case your PC (or more like BT chipset/dongle) is not up to the task to send and receive data fast enough.Īnother theory it is a low battery warning flash. You can disable the "flash lightbar at high latency" in DS4Windows settings (Settings tab page). Log file should show the same warning msg. Hm.Red lightbar is usually warning about latency issues.

My guess is that it has some firmware problem where it "freezes" when using too much bandwidth constantly and opening Windows' devices menu makes windows creates a request to the dongle that unfreezes it? Kinda of a longshot but hey, who knows?

I never saw anyone with an issue like yours, so I'm betting it's just a bad BT adapter.
#Ds4windows controller latency over 10ms driver
Maybe you are using Windows default BT driver that works for most case but your dongle requires a specific driver from its manufacture?.I'm not sure what could cause this but your BT Adapter is just stop responding randomly. But I'd still like to know what causes this and if there's an actual fix, cuz I really like the rumble and the lightbar is kinda useful to me. This probably means that the controller is still connected, but it just stops responding.ĮDIT: Unchecking "Enable Output data to DS4" seems to work. The controller is still on as the lightbar stays on whatever color it was right before "disconnecting" (I use color cycle).Ĭontroller Readings in DS4Windows just stops receiving any input, and the log looks like this: 23:37:26.3122|INFO|Controller 1's latency now under 10ms
#Ds4windows controller latency over 10ms Bluetooth
I just bought a Bluetooth adapter for my desktop and I'm getting this weird problem where my controller suddenly stops, but I get the 'device connected' sound and it works again when I open Bluetooth settings on Windows - I'm not clicking on anything at all, just opening the settings makes it work again.
